Session 1
Education for the 21st Century: A Global Perspective
Jonathan shares his reflections on the future of education after two decades of teaching in a variety of different educational initiatives and a range of international contexts. Jonathan is currently engaged in educational research as a doctoral student at the University of Bath, England and he will also be discussing aspects of his current work and recent publications on a range of educational themes.

Session 2
Education as Transformation – The Beautiful Risk of Education
How can we educate to meet the challenges that are before us in the coming century? With the increasing influence of digital devices in our lives, robots replacing people in the workplace, and ecological change in our environments, how can we adjust our educational approaches to adequately prepare ourselves and our students for a rapidly changing world?

Session 3
Speaking Flames – Re-imagining Human Potential
Who is the human being that stands at the heart of our educational efforts? This is the central and crucial question behind any educational approach. The answers given to this question – whether by policymakers or parents, teachers or researchers – will determine the way in which our education will be shaped in years to come.
